Amy Bishop Design (ABD) is a full-service high-end residential interior design studio based in Duxbury, MA, specializing in creating timeless, livable spaces with a modern sensibility. With a deep appreciation for craftsmanship and design history, ABD transforms homes by balancing classic elegance with contemporary functionality. The studio collaborates closely with clients to bring their vision to life, offering thoughtful, detail-oriented design solutions that enhance both aesthetics and everyday living.
Founded by Amy Bishop Blumenthal, ABD is built on nearly 20 years of experience working across New England and beyond. Before establishing her namesake firm, Amy worked with some of New York City’s top designers and earned degrees from Parsons School of Design and Pratt Institute in Interior Design and the History of Decorative Arts and Design. She also honed her skills in television and film set design, working on Emmy Award-winning productions like Extreme Makeover: Home Edition.
Today, ABD is proud to serve clients across New England, with current builds spanning from Cohasset to Falmouth and Martha’s Vineyard. Each project begins with in-depth conversations to understand the client’s vision, lifestyle, and needs, ensuring every space reflects both beauty and function.

With over 20 years of experience in interior design, a BFA from Pratt, and an MFA from Parsons, worked as a production designer for Emmy Award-winning shows, commercials, and independent films in LA, and as a senior interior designer for an AD 100 firm in NYC, specializing in creating high-end, elegant spaces.

Interior Designer ASID (& Amy’s mom!)
With over 4 decades of experience in interior design and a degree from NYSID, worked as a contract and hospitality designer, leading a team on large-scale projects, and as a residential designer specializing in antique and period-style architecture before joining Amy.

Operations & Project Manager
With an Associate's degree in Interior Design, specializing in furniture design from FIDM in Los Angeles, brings a deep passion for diverse design styles and periods. Focused on the importance of material choices, finishes, and color palettes. Now part of the family firm and designing with a seasoned team of professionals.
